UPDATE: ONLINE PRE-SALE IS SOLD OUT, BUT THERE WILL BE SOME BEER AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE BREWERY ON RELEASE DAY; FIRST COME, FIRST-SERVED.

 

Parliament of Owls Imperial Stout will be released this week alongside DDH Attacus Atlas.

Bevy of Swans Imperial Stout will be postponed for release at a later date. We have decided to take more time to make this amazing beer.  

We joined forces with the Stout Kings at @bottlelogicbrew to create two massively flavorful adjunct Imperial Stouts. We compared notes on our base stout techniques and employed some of their favorite ingredients and methods to create what are now the highest gravity beers we’ve ever produced. In finishing the beers, we dosed with some of Bottle Logic’s favorite adjuncts that are new to our brewery.

Graham Cracker, Chocolate, Toasted Marshmallow, and @mostracoffee Ghost Bear Espresso Blend Imperial Stout. Parliament of Owls evokes the comfort of morning gatherings around the campfire eating S’mores with a delicious cup of coffee. 13% ABV

Label artwork by Chase Mullen. We’ve long been fans of Chase and his work. After meeting several years ago over a shared love of modern beer and art, we’ve waited for the perfect project to collaborate on a label. Chase’s paintings are a contemporary take on southern wildlife and culture, heavily influenced by antique field guides and early scientific illustration. His realistic painting technique draws attention to anatomy and the juxtaposition of the environment, both organic and man-made. Read more about Chase and his work at @chasemullenstudios.

 

🦋DDH ATTACUS ATLAS
The largest moth species on planet Earth, the Attacus Atlas, emerges into its final stage of metamorphosis as a winged adult with no mouth. Because it lives only a few days, it has no need to eat. A perfect metaphor for the world’s largest and most heavily-dosed IPAs, with their intense but brief existence. Far beyond 9% ABV, we’ve doubled the already vast amount of hand-selected Australian Galaxy hops in Attacus Atlas. A staggering eleven pounds per barrel makes this one of the largest dry-hop additions we’ve ever executed. With super-saturated highlights of mixed berry, mint, melon, tangerine, and pine sap, DDH Attacus Atlas is an opulent experience and a hit of resin straight to the dome.

Pre-sale for Parliament of Owls + DDH Attacus Atlas begins Thursday, December 9 at noon CST on our website with pick up Saturday, December 11. If you miss out on the presale there will be some beer available for purchase at the brewery on release day, first come, first served.
