To celebrate the opening of Chase Mullen’s first museum exhibition Second Nature: Artworks by Chase Mullen at the Louisiana Art and Science Museum, we present Second Nature. “Mullen’s paintings are a contemporary take on southern wildlife and culture, heavily influenced by antique field guides and early scientific illustration. The artist carefully contextualizes the unique natural history of the south to convey underlying themes of nature, culture, and place.” We celebrate Mullen’s work with our take on one of the oldest classic beer styles in Germany, the Kölsch.
